Anna Maria Katharina Gampfer married Johann Michael Brandstetter, son of Andreas Sigismund Brandstetter and Appolonia Engle Dosenbaum, on 25 January 1717 at Froschen, Rheinland-Pfaltz, Germany. Anna Maria Katharina Gampfer died on 8 December 1778 at Alt-Froeschen, Germany, at age 81.
     She immigrated on 20 September 1764 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Frederick and Anna Branstetter departed Germany May 14, 1764 and arrived at the port of Philadelphia September 20, 1764 on the ship 'Sarah' from Rotterdam by way of Portsmouth. Frederick is said to have sold his two eldest sons into five years of service to cover the cost of the family's trip to America.
